Your Waterwheel Solution

Caldwell City Urban Renewal Project

Caldwell, Idaho

20 Foot Modular River Paddlewheel installed September 2005

Twice coat bronze textured powder coated metal finish

This waterwheel was donated to the city project by the local Rotary Club.

Indian Creek runs through the middle of town. At one point this creek was covered over by building on top of the creek to hide it. This section of the city was cleaned up and the waterwheel was marked as its focal point
Temporary stand was created for the erection of the wheel. The axle and the spokes are installed.
The outer panels were bolted on.

The paddle sections were then bolted into place and all the bolts were secured.

The wheel was completed and the wheel was gently put onto it's supports in the creek by the Lambert Construction company who in charge of the restoration
The wheel was secured onto the supports.
This waterwheel was design with a real flare; the many rings, unique style on the center ring, distinctive paddle design.
On the wheel's dedication day the high school band paraded down the street, the mayor gave a talk and a city street fair took place.
As the facing on the wall gets completed and the stone walks and landscaping is finished more pictures will be added.
