15.5 foot / 46 inch wide deep bucket waterwheel being installed Aug. 2003

Foundation and stand are ready for installation

The hubs are positioned and welded into place

The 3000 pounds of laser formed metal bucket sectionas are positioned for assembly

At the end of the day the last of the 16 section are bolted into place

These six 5 by 1.75 inch rounded beams will form a perfect 15.5 ft circle. They will be welded onto the outer rim of the wheel for a generator wheel to run on.

The wheel is prepared for the wide metal;rolled channel

The raceway will be assembled as the next step for the completion of the site. This will take place by the beginning of the third quarter of 2003.
